Patrician is very open minded and flexible. Patricia can provide continuous care from birth to college, taking care of your child’s every need from check ups to sick visits. She has a lot of experience with newborns, for years one of her positions was seeing newborns immediately after birth. She continues to see newborns in her practice now regardless of how or where the parents gave birth. Patricia may be able to arrange in home care postpartum depending on the circumstances, to promote attachment after birth. She calls you back personally, not her anwsering service or Nurse. She has nursed all of her children and is a very holistic person. She welcomes all families with open arms and supports your choices in birthing and parenting. If there are parent’s preferences she is not familiar with, she is very willing to learn.
Patricia is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Valdosta State University and received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Emory University. Patricia has 13 years of experience in private practice as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. She is a nursing instructor at the School of Nursing at Georgia State University and is the President Elect of the Georgia Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Patricia is an Atlanta native; she lives in Johns Creek with her husband and two children.
Michael R. Papciak, M. D.
Dr. Michael R. Papciak is a graduate of The University of Michigan Medical School. His training includes a residency in pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He is Board Certified and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a past Chief of Pediatrics at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite and is presently a clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Emory University School of Medicine. Atlanta Magazine has four times named Dr. Papciak as one of Atlanta’s “Top Doctors.” He is married and the father of five children.
